Pemuda PBB Padungan bangga sebagai ahli PBB dan tidak merasa takut dengan salakkan pembangkang

Pemuda PBB Padungan menyahut seruan Presiden Parti Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud untuk tidak merasa takut dengan pihak-pihak yang tidak menyukai polisi-polisi parti memperjuangkan kepentingan kaum Bumiputera di Sarawak.

Pemuda PBB Padungan juga teramat setuju dengan gesaan Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud bahawa semua ahli PBB seharusnya merasa bangga dengan sumbangan-sumbangan yang telah diberikan oleh parti untuk membangunkan Sarawak seperti sekarang.

Kami amat yakin suara-suara sumbang yang kedengaran adalah hasil dari kegagalan memahami polisi-polisi yang diketengahkan oleh parti.

Pada masa yang sama, pembangkang cenderung untuk mengambil kesempatan ini untuk menghasilkan perbalahan agar dapat mendapat undi dalam pilihanraya.

Hal ini amat jelas dalam pilihanraya yang lepas.

Pakatan Pembangkang bukannya ikhlas apabila cuba untuk mendapatkan jawapan dari Kerajaan Barisan Nasional tetapi mempunyai niat yang jahat agar Kerajaan Barisan Nasional akan dituduh sebagai tidak prihatin dengan permasalahan rakyat.

Adakah Pakatan Pembangkang tidak suiman dengan membuat tuduhan sedemikian?

Adakah masuk akal untuk sebuah kerajaan yang ditubuhkan melalui proses demokrasi enggan ambil peduli masalah rakyat yang mempunyai kuasa untuk memilih kerajaan???!!!

Pemuda PBB Padungan menyeru semua ahli Pergerakkan Pemuda PBB agar tidak merasa gusar ataupun khuatir apabila Pakatan Pembangkang membuat dakwaan negatif terhadap Kerajaan Barisan Nasional dan PBB.

Kita perlu ingat bahawa Pakatan Pembangkang ialah parti-parti politik yang mempunyai objektif untuk mendapatkan kuasa yang ada ditangan Kerajaan Barisan Nasional.

Oleh itu, mereka tidak teragak-agak untuk bermain kotor demi kuasa.

Ini terbukti dalam pilihanraya yang lepas apabila Pakatan Pembangkang tidak bertanggungjawab dengan memainkan isu agama!!!

Sekiranya Pakatan Pembangkang mendakwa mereka lebih bijak mentadbir dengan mengambil contoh pentadbiran negeri-negeri dibawah Pakatan Pembangkang, kita berani menyangkal dakwaan ini.

Kita telah berjaya mengketengahkan bukti-bukti kukuh bahawa Pakatan Pembangkang hanya membuat dakwaan yang bertujuan untuk menipu rakyat bagi tujuan untuk mendapatkan undi.

Dan kita akan terus membuktikan bahawa Pakatan Pembangkang cuba memesongkan pemikiran dan tanggapan rakyat terhadap Kerajaan Barisan Nasional.

Sekiranya kebajikan rakyat itu benar-benar penting untuk Pakatan Pembangkang, adalah mereka sanggup hilang undi demi kebajikan rakyat???

Akhirkata, Pemuda PBB Padungan berikrar akan sentiasa berdiri kukuh dibelakang Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Sarawak dan Presiden Parti Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud dan juga barisan kepimpinan parti.

Hidup PBB!!! PBB, kaulah kebangaan kami!!!

Nothing to fear, PBB members told

KUCHING: Members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Ber sat u (PBB) have been urged to continue to uphold the party's policy of fighting for the rights of the Bumiputeras.

Party members are also advised not to be afraid of certain quarters that do not favour the party's policies.

PBB President Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, who made the call, said PBB should be proud of its contribution in making Sarawak to what it was today while struggling for Bumiputera rights without discriminating the rights of the non-Bumiputeras.

"Why should we feel afraid?

After all, all this while we PBB have been the backbone of Sarawak Bar i san Nas ional (BN) and although our main priority is to fight for the Bumiputeras, we are fair and have never discriminated against the non-Bumiputeras throughout the implementation of our policies.

"Not to boast and it is not too much for me to say that, we PBB should be proud or can walk tall as our contributions, together with our other counterparts in the state BN for the past several decades, have made Sarawak ino what it is today," said Taib, who is also State BN Chairman and Chief Minister, in his speech at the Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri 2011 organised by Kuching Zone PBB at the new Sarawak Islamic Centre at Jalan P.Ramlee here on Tuesday night.

He pointed out that PBB should not budge even an inch in its stands and principles to any pressure from any quarters that were not happy with its (PBB) policies.

He reminded quarters not in favour with PBB policies that it would be their loss if they were to disrupt the unity of the people, the unity that had been the main factor contributing to the present rate of development enjoyed by the state.

"In the last state election, PBB's winning of 100 percent of i ts 35 seats strongly indicates that the party is still in the hearts of the people who support its policies.Therefore, I urged all PBB members to strive and work even harder to win all the PBB seats in the forthcoming parliamentary election which would be held at any time soon," he advised.

Taib then stressed that it was important to determine the direction of PBB to keep pace with the people's struggles, thus serving as an umbrella sheltering development, peace, political stability and unity in Sarawak.

On another development, he said the Bumiputera Trust Fund which would be set up soon would focus on technical training for the Bumiputeras so that they could be part of the skilled workforce needed by industries under the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

Urging PBB elected representatives to emphasise the matter to their respective constituents, Taib said the general public, especially the younger generation, should be ready for any changes to meet the challenges of SCORE to benefit all communities in the state.

"This is because, according to research, the SCORE will need about 52 per cent skilled workforce to meet the needs of employers in the region's economic development.

"So far, the response to technical education is very good among the indigenous communities, who are very motivated to follow changes in their environment," he added.

Later,Taib lit an over-sized oil lamp to symbolically open the Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri.

Earlier, PBB Deputy President Datuk Amar Abang Haji Johari Tun Openg and Vice-President Datuk Haji Daud Abdul Rahman also spoke at the event.

Also present were the Chief Minister's wife Puan Sri Ragad Kurdi Taib, PBB Deputy President Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu, PBB Youth Chief Datuk Haji Fadillah Yusof, PBB elected representatives from Santubong and Petra Jaya parliamentary constituencies, and exco members of Youth's and women's wings and party members.
