Sekian. Terimakasih.
Ir. Haidel Heli
Ketua Pemuda PBB Padungan

KUCHING: Barisan Nasional (BN) should fully utilise the Internet to disseminate information in an organised and well-structured manner.
Newly-appointed Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) Sarawak chairman Abdullah Saidol said social media on the World Wide Web could be a powerful weapon for BN.
“We should be able to utilise and benefit from the usage of the Internet, especially to counter attacks or mitigate the efforts of the opposition who are always reckless and clumsy in their analysis of our planning and actions,” said Abdullah during the ‘Majlis Malam Mesra BNBBC Sarawak’ on Wednesday.
The Semop assemblyman pointed out that the opposition’s efforts during election campaigns could be so brutal that it was hard to believe that they, as fellow Sarawakians, were willing to “burn almost anything for a struggle”.
“However, rest assured that in sharing our common aspirations, we will unite in our diversification and act in concert to defend when the interest of our party is at stake.
“In a nutshell, the Latin proverb on consensus ‘ad idem’ or ‘meeting of the minds’ must be in
place when we go out there to promote our struggle and the philosophy of our party’s vision and mission.”
He added that the BN’s unity in direction to achieve its plans for the state must not be compromised.
Meanwhile, former BNBBC Sarawak chairman Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah commended BN backbenchers for updating themselves with standing orders during the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting, which ended on Wednesday.
He said this is a good sign for BN in facing the opposition during future DUN sittings.
Abdul Karim resigned from the position due to his appointments as Assistant Minister of Youth Development and Assistant Minister of Housing (Housing Development and Tribunal).
Among those present at the dinner were Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Puan Sri Ragad Kurdi Taib, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu and DUN Speaker Datuk Amar Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar.
